Step 1 : Make the following changes to your Phone Settings
Settings > Security > Mark "Unknown sources"
Settings > Developer options > Mark USB debugging
Settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode
Step 2 : Download the Rooting Software for Xperia Ray. Download the Zip file and extract it.
Step 3 : Connect Your Xperia Ray to Computer using the USB Cable.
Step 4 : Run the file run me.bat
Follow the instruction provided, Usually your phone has to restart 3 times to completely root during the above procedure. Here is a screenshot of what we are talking about.
Congratulations your phone is rooted now. You can use the same software to Root other Sony Xperia 2011 Models as well. we will be covering other models as well.
